
Wolverhampton Signs Jackson Chatou
The English club Wolverhampton announced its signing of right-back Jackson Chatou from Italian side Hellas Verona, with a contract extending for five years with an option for an additional year.
The Belgian-born player represents the Cameroon national team and stood out last season as the fastest player in Serie A with a speed of 36.3 km/h.
Chatou, who is 23 years old, began his career with Belgian club Charleroi, where he excelled as a wing-back, scoring two goals and providing assists, before declaring his international representation for Cameroon and playing his first international match in June 2024 in the World Cup qualifiers against Cape Verde.
He joined Hellas Verona on loan before signing permanently, participating in 43 matches last season, contributing to the team's survival in Serie A, alongside his participation with Cameroon, which qualified for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
