Benfica Insists on Signing Mohamed Amin Amoura from Wolfsburg
Portuguese media reports have revealed that Benfica's management has strongly entered the fray to sign Algerian international Mohamed Amin Amoura, the striker of German club Wolfsburg, during the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to Sportinforma, Benfica has made an official offer worth €27 million, with additional incentives of €3 million, bringing the total to €30 million, in an effort to persuade Wolfsburg to part with their Algerian striker.
The same source added that Benfica officials are determined to sign Amoura this summer, especially after the club's failure to finalize the transfers of Thiago Almada and João Félix.
It is noteworthy that Mohamed Amin Amoura (24 years old) is under contract with Wolfsburg until the summer of 2029, having joined the German club in the summer of 2023 from Belgian side Saint-Gilloise, and has shown impressive performances that have made him one of the most prominent Algerian strikers in Europe.
