Fernandes: We did everything we could to win, and this is frustrating
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes appeared in press statements after the loss to Arsenal by a goal to nil in the first round of the Premier League.
The player said: "It's hard to look for positives when you lose a match, but I think there are many good things to build on. We did everything we could to win, and we created many chances that were enough to score a goal, but we failed to capitalize on them."
Regarding the goal conceded by the team, the Portuguese star commented: "It's very frustrating, especially since we were fully aware of the opponent's danger in set pieces."
He also praised his new teammates Kunia and Mbeumo, saying, "We know well the quality of the players they are, and we look forward to a lot of contributions from them to the team in the upcoming period."
