Al-Hilal Club has conditioned the conclusion of an exchange deal with its rival Al-Ittihad before agreeing to the departure of veteran defender Ali Al-Bulayhi to the ranks of 'The Union' during the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to the Saudi newspaper 'Al-Yawm', the Al-Hilal management has requested the inclusion of Ahmed Al-Ghamdi from Al-Ittihad as part of the deal, in case the latter decides to bring in Al-Bulayhi on loan for one season.

Al-Ittihad has turned its attention towards Al-Bulayhi to strengthen its defense line after failing to negotiate with Al-Nasr regarding the signing of Abdul-Ilah Al-Amri, due to disagreements over financial demands.

For his part, Italian coach Simone Inzaghi has given the green light for Al-Bulayhi's departure this summer, as he relies on the main duo Hassan Tambakti and Khalidou Koulibaly in central defense.

Al-Bulayhi's transfer to Al-Ittihad is contingent upon the two clubs reaching a final agreement on the exchange deal, which opens the door for an exciting transfer between the two giants of Saudi football in the coming days.
