
Al-Ghandour Sparks Controversy Over Coaches' Objections to Referees
The media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour stirred controversy on Facebook with a post about objections to referees in matches.
Al-Ghandour said: "I know people who see the objection of the Pyramids coach to the referees as wrong and shameful and deserving of a red card, and I agree with them, but those same people, glory be to God, saw the objection in a blatant manner to the referees as a significant advantage and exerting pressure on them during matches."
Pyramids succeeded in securing a victory over Ismaily yesterday, Thursday, with a single goal in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Pyramids is preparing to face Al-Masry next Tuesday as part of the third round of the tournament.
