Liverpool Plans to Sign a New Winger Aside from Isak Deal
Liverpool continues to work vigorously in the summer transfer market, despite criticism regarding its large spending during this period, a move that some consider a departure from the club's usual approach to signings.
The Reds have spent over £250 million this summer, including a record deal to sign Florian Wirtz, in addition to significant contracts with Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, and Jeremie Frimpong.
Despite this spending, Liverpool has managed to recoup a large portion of it, achieving returns close to £182 million after selling several players, the most notable being Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich for £65.5 million, and Darwin Nunez to Al Hilal for £46 million, along with other deals.
Thus, the net actual spending of the club is around £74 million only, making it the least among elite clubs in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, reports have revealed that Liverpool is considering signing a new winger valued at up to £70 million before the end of the transfer window, separate from any potential deal for striker Alexander Isak.
