Diomande Enters Real Madrid's Radar

The young Ivorian forward Yan Diomande has established himself as one of the standout stars of the 2026 World Cup, drawing attention with his exceptional performance for his national team, making him one of the most sought-after players by top European clubs at present.

The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that the 19-year-old RB Leipzig player is attracting significant interest from clubs across the continent, as his market value has risen to over 100 million euros since last year, due to the performances he is delivering with his club and national team.

Diomande joined Leipzig in the summer of 2025 from Spanish club Leganes for 20 million euros, despite his limited appearances with the Spanish team. Since his move to the German league, he has continued to develop remarkably, making him one of the most promising rising talents in European football.

The newspaper added that Leipzig has already rejected a €100 million offer from Liverpool to sign the player.

The report also indicated that Real Madrid closely followed the player during the match between Ivory Coast and Ecuador in the World Cup. Juni Calafat, the head of international scouting at the Royal Club, attended to observe several players, with Diomande being one of the standout names that caught attention after his impressive performance in the match.
