Today, Iraqi Al-Emana Club presented its new veteran Algerian star Sofiane Feghouli to the media, in a move that attracted attention on the Iraqi football scene, due to the player's artistic value and significant international experience gained throughout his long career in Europe and with the Algerian national team.

During the press conference, Feghouli expressed his great happiness in embarking on a new experience in the Iraqi league:

Saying, "I am happy to be here in Iraq, and we will work hard to raise the name of our club and the Iraqi league high."

The Algerian star confirmed that the last official match he played was a full year ago, but he indicated his technical and physical readiness to take on the challenge in the Al-Emana jersey.

After his introduction, Feghouli headed to the club's stadium where he watched the team's training amid a welcoming atmosphere from his teammates and the coaching staff, in a scene that reflects the great enthusiasm to start this new phase.

For his part, club president Falah Al-Masoudi explained that signing Feghouli is part of the team's goals to compete strongly in the new season:

Saying, "The goal of Al-Emana is to be among the top six positions in the Professional League."

He added, "Our contract with Sofiane Feghouli has dual benefits, both marketing and technical, serving the team and giving it a strong boost."
