Air Force Strengthens Lead with Three Goals Against Amanat Baghdad

The Air Force team continued its positive results in the Iraqi Stars League competitions after achieving an important victory over the Amanat Baghdad team with a score of three goals to one, in the match that brought them together at the City Stadium in the capital, Baghdad, as part of the twenty-third round of the championship.

The Air Force entered the match with a clear determination to collect the three points and continue to stay ahead at the top of the standings, as the team started the match at a fast pace and succeeded in imposing its superiority from the early minutes of the confrontation.

The first goal came early in the ninth minute of the match when Amanat Baghdad player Ahmed Noor accidentally scored an own goal, giving the Air Force team the lead at the start of the match and putting his team in a comfortable position from the beginning.

The Falcons continued to pressure the Amanat Baghdad defenses in search of reinforcing the result, and the team succeeded in adding the second goal in the twenty-sixth minute through Jordanian player Mohannad Abu Taha, who managed to widen the gap in favor of the Air Force.

The hosts did not wait long to add the third goal, as player Omar Amino managed to score the third goal in the thirty-fourth minute, putting his team in a comfortable position before the end of the first half.

The task of the Amanat Baghdad team became more complicated after their defender Ayman Razeej received a direct red card in the thirty-seventh minute, forcing the team to complete the rest of the match with ten players.

Thus, the Air Force ended the first half leading by three goals without reply, in a half during which the team clearly dominated the course of the match.

In the second half, the Amanat Baghdad team tried to return to the atmosphere of the match and reduce the gap, as they had an important opportunity in the fifty-eighth minute after a penalty kick was awarded, but player Jabbar Kareem failed to convert it into a goal.

Despite missing the penalty, the Amanat Baghdad team managed to score its only goal in the match in the sixty-fifth minute through player Hussein Talib, reducing the gap and giving his team some hope of a comeback.

But the Air Force succeeded in maintaining its lead until the end of the match, achieving a well-deserved victory that strengthens its position at the top of the Iraqi Stars League standings.

With this victory, the Air Force raised its tally to 55 points, continuing to hold on to the top of the standings, while the Amanat Baghdad team's tally froze at 21 points, remaining in seventeenth place in the standings.
