Major Deal on the Horizon Could End Amin Adli's Journey with Bayer Leverkusen
Monday 11-08-2025
The German website Kicker revealed that Bayer Leverkusen could witness the departure of its Moroccan winger Amin Adli during the ongoing summer transfer window, despite his regular starting role in several recent friendly matches.

Adli, who is 25 years old, is a target for several prominent clubs, most notably French club Olympique Marseille, as well as English clubs Sunderland and Bournemouth, with Leverkusen demanding an amount close to 30 million euros to part with his services.

Adli joined the German team in 2021 from Toulouse for 10 million euros, and he prefers to play as a right winger or a second striker, although he has mostly played on the left side, a position that does not fully align with his style.

Leverkusen is looking to strengthen its attacking line by signing players in Adli's preferred positions, including right winger Ernest Poku from Alkmaar, as well as an attacking playmaker capable of making a difference.

Given these factors, the likelihood of Adli's departure this summer increases, especially with interested clubs able to meet the financial demands, while Leverkusen aims to invest the proceeds in funding a new training center project.
