Roma Rejects Saudi Bid for Ivorian Ndicka
Saturday 09-08-2025
Roma has closed the door on a Saudi club's attempt to acquire its Ivorian defender Ivan Ndicka during the summer transfer market, after a bid of 25 million euros was completely rejected.

Transfer expert Nicolo Schira confirmed that Roma's management is keen on retaining the player, while the newspaper "Corriere dello Sport" indicated that the club would only agree to sell him for at least 40 million euros.

Despite the Saudi interest, the 25-year-old Ndicka prefers a move to the Premier League if he decides to leave, rejecting the idea of experiencing the Saudi league at this time.

Ndicka joined Roma in the summer of 2023 from Eintracht Frankfurt on a contract that runs until June 2028, and he participated in all 38 minutes of the Italian league matches last season without any substitutions.

During his time with Roma, he played 85 matches in all competitions, scored one goal, provided five assists, and contributed to keeping the team's clean sheet 16 times, earning him a spot in the Team of the Season for Serie A 2024-25.
