Newcastle Reaches Agreement with Milan to Acquire Malick Thiaw
Newcastle United is close to finalizing the deal to acquire German defender Malick Thiaw from Italian club Milan, according to the website "Football Italia".
According to the same source, the two parties have reached an agreement for Thiaw's transfer for 35 million euros, plus up to 5 million euros in incentives, with some final details remaining before the official announcement.
Once the deal is completed, Milan plans to move quickly to strengthen their defense under coach Massimiliano Allegri, as they prioritize signing two young Italian defenders: Giovanni Leone from Parma and Pietro Comuzzo from Fiorentina.
Giovanni Leone's market value is around 40 million euros, which is similar to what Milan will earn from Thiaw's sale, while Comuzzo's value is estimated at about 30 million euros.
