Norooz strengthens its defense by signing Serbian Ognjen Marsic
The administrative body of Norooz Club announced its official signing of Serbian defender Ognjen Marsic, coming from Novi Pazar Club, which plays in the 13th Serbian league, as part of its efforts to strengthen the team's back line in preparation for the new season of the Iraqi Stars League.
Marsic is considered one of the distinguished defenders, having previously represented several local clubs in his country, most notably Čukarički and Napredak, before settling at Novi Pazar, where he showed strong performances at the local level.
Marsic is 26 years old (born in 1999) and is characterized by a strong physical build, standing at 193 cm tall, which gives him an advantage in aerial balls and physical confrontations, qualities that the coaching staff, led by the coach, is looking for to bolster the depth of defense.
This deal is part of Norooz management's plan to secure the defensive line with experienced and highly capable players, in light of the club's great ambitions to achieve outstanding results in the upcoming season and compete for a high position in the overall standings.
