Sétif Club is nearing the enhancement of its squad with a new attacking deal, as the signing of Algerian striker Sami Frioui is expected to be finalized in the coming hours.

Frioui, who is 33 years old, plays as a center forward and has an impressive scoring record along with extensive experience in Algerian and Arab leagues. He played his last season with Al-Riffa in Bahrain, where he scored 13 goals.

He previously played with CR Belouizdad for four seasons, during which he scored 46 goals. He also shone with USM Blida and was crowned the top scorer of the national championship with 17 goals.

His experiences are not limited to local and Arab leagues, as he also had a professional stint in Europe with Greek club Larissa in 2018.

This deal comes to fill the gap in the front line of the Black Eagle following the departure of Kingsley Ido and Karim Bouhamdi, making Frioui a logical and necessary choice to lead the attack in the new season.
