Reports indicate that Newcastle United is preparing to make an official offer to sign German defender Malick Thiaw, currently with Milan, during the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle plans to communicate with Milan's management to discuss the possibility of signing Thiaw, with discussions between both parties expected to begin soon regarding the deal's value.
Thiaw is considered a key player in coach Massimiliano Allegri's lineup, as the Italian club refused to let him go to Como last July.
It is noteworthy that Malick Thiaw, 23 years old, is contracted with Milan until June 30, 2027, and has participated in 85 matches with the team, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
