Reports have revealed that German club Borussia Dortmund has reopened negotiations with English club Chelsea to sign midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka during the current summer transfer window.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, discussions between the two clubs are still ongoing, as Dortmund seeks to find a suitable formula to finalize the deal, given the player's desire to leave Chelsea this summer.

Romano indicated that Chelsea's management prefers to sell Chukwuemeka on a permanent basis if Dortmund decides to make an official offer for him.

The young English player joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in 2022, participating in 32 matches with the London team, during which he scored two goals and provided one assist. During his loan period at Dortmund, he played 17 matches and scored one goal.
