Italian media reports have revealed new developments regarding the future of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, star of Atalanta, during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Lookman's contract with Atalanta is still valid until June 30, 2027, yet the player has expressed his desire to leave this summer and join one of the major clubs participating in the Champions League, amid interest from Inter Milan and Barcelona.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta rejected an official offer from Inter Milan, valued at 42 million euros plus 3 million in add-ons, to acquire Lookman during the current transfer window.

It is noted that Lookman, 27 years old, played 40 matches with Atalanta in various competitions during the 2024/2025 season, scoring 20 goals and providing 7 assists.
