Al-Nassr Targets Brazilian Lucas Paquetá from West Ham
Friday 01-08-2025
Saudi Al-Nassr has intensified its movements in the summer transfer market, officially entering the race to sign Brazilian Lucas Paquetá, the midfielder from West Ham United, in a significant deal.

Paquetá's return to the spotlight came after he was acquitted of the charges related to match-fixing, as he previously faced a threat of a lifetime ban due to allegations of deliberately receiving a yellow card.

The investigations that began in 2023 concluded without any penalties being imposed, which made the player a target for several major clubs, including teams in the English Premier League, in addition to Saudi Al-Nassr and Brazilian Flamengo.

The website "Foot Mercato" revealed that West Ham is open to selling their Brazilian player, provided they receive an offer ranging between 60 and 70 million euros, especially since the player still holds significant value in the transfer market.

Paquetá joined West Ham in the summer of 2022 and has a contract extending until June 2027, during which he has played 120 matches, scoring 18 goals and providing 14 assists, while his current market value is estimated at 28 million euros.
