Al Nassr close to renewing Nawaf Boushal's contract for 4 seasons

Al Nassr are close to securing the continued presence of right-back Nawaf Boushal with the first team, having made significant progress in negotiations to renew his contract for an additional four seasons.

A source revealed to the newspaper 'Al-Riyadiyah' that the club's management has entered into direct negotiations with Ali Al-Ramah, the player's agent, to reach an agreement regarding the extension of the contract.

The source indicated that the two parties have reached a near-final agreement regarding the renewal, with financial details and terms of the new contract to be revealed in the coming period.

Al Nassr signed Nawaf Boushal, who is 27 years old, in January 2023 from Al Fateh on a professional contract lasting five seasons.

The player is set to enter the free period allowing him to negotiate with any other club next January, prompting Al Nassr's management to act early to secure his continuation.

Nawaf Boushal has played 138 matches for Al Nassr, scoring three goals and providing 19 assists. He received 15 yellow cards and was sent off on two occasions.

The Saudi defender was one of the key players who contributed to Al Nassr winning the Saudi Pro League title last season, as he became one of the essential names in the team's lineup.

On the international stage, Nawaf Boushal has participated in 31 matches with the Saudi national team and contributed to winning the Gulf Cup title on October 6, following a 2-0 victory over the United Arab Emirates.
