Reports: Ronaldo plans to retire at the end of the season with Al Nassr
Portuguese journalist Pedro Supaida has revealed exciting developments regarding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al Nassr, confirming that the Portuguese star has made his decision about international retirement and will not return to represent his national team.
Sofeida, during his appearance on the program "In the Middle" on the News Channel, said that Ronaldo will not participate again with the Portugal national team, explaining that some actions of coach Jorge Jesus led him to make the decision to end his international career without the farewell he had hoped for.
The Portuguese journalist added that the president of the Portuguese Football Federation wanted to bring back the services of Al Nassr captain Ronaldo, and attempts were made to convince him to return to the national team, but the player definitively rejected the idea.
Sofeida explained that Ronaldo knew Jorge Jesus would include him in the national team list, which is why he preferred to announce his international retirement before the new names were revealed, so he would not find himself in a situation he did not want to be in again.
He pointed out that the Portuguese star had hoped to bid farewell to the fans of his national team in a way that befits his historic career, but he did not get the opportunity he was waiting for, due to the actions attributed by the journalist to Jesus.
In another development, Supvida confirmed that Ronaldo plans to end his football career entirely at the end of the current season with Al Nassr, which could bring an end to a career filled with achievements and individual and collective titles.
