The Williams Brothers Accused of Fraud

The court in Navarre has formally charged Athletic Bilbao players, Iñaki and Nico Williams, with fraud and the unlawful appropriation of a Mercedes AMG E63 valued at over 130,000 euros.

According to the details of the complaint, the brothers are accused of "simulating a fictitious sale transaction" with the help of their bankrupt aunt and another intermediary, as the agreed-upon vehicle was not delivered nor were the legal procedures completed, resulting in significant financial losses for the car's owning company.

The court has officially commenced investigations and summoned the brothers to hear them as suspects, in addition to taking precautionary measures to ensure that the vehicle does not disappear or that evidence in the case is not tampered with.

The players issued an official statement confirming their awareness of a legal complaint against them related to this case, emphasizing that the allegations are not based on real facts, and that what has been presented in the complaint "deliberately distorts the truth," in an attempt to damage their personal and professional image by pressuring them to pay undue amounts.

The brothers firmly deny committing any legal violations and expressed their full confidence in the Spanish judicial system, affirming that their conscience is clear because they have not broken the law. They also pledged to take appropriate legal action against anyone who has made false accusations against them or used the case to intentionally defame them.
