Air Force Club Ends Contracts of Professionals by Mutual Consent
The interim administrative body of the Air Force Club announced today, Thursday, the termination of contracts for all professional players who represented the team last season, by mutual consent. This step aims to restructure the team in preparation for the new football season of the Iraqi Premier League.
In an official statement, the head of the administrative body, Mr. Maad Badai, confirmed that the administration has handed over all financial entitlements to the players, emphasizing that this step is part of a comprehensive reform plan to rebuild the team according to a new technical vision that meets the aspirations of the fans and the club's ambitions.
Badai stated:
“The contracts of the professionals ended by mutual consent after concluding all financial and administrative aspects with them, and we thank them for what they provided during their time representing the club.”
He pointed out that the administration is now moving towards relying primarily on local players, while supplementing the squad with new professional elements that will be carefully selected according to the needs of the coaching staff led by the new coach.
The decision to terminate contracts included:
Liberian William Jebor, Nigerian Ahmad Isaiah, Cameroonian Misoki Olmo, and Ghanaian Bolo Narti, as these players had varying experiences last season without achieving the expected contribution from the fans.
The Falcons' management is expected to unveil new deals in the coming period, which will add strength and cohesion to the team, amidst ambitions to compete in all local championships and participate in international competitions.
