The Italian club Roma announced today, Monday, that it has officially signed Brazilian player Wesley Franca from Flamengo in a permanent transfer deal until 2030.
Wesley, born in 2003, plays as a right-back and has made over 100 appearances for Flamengo's first team. He also participated in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The player made his debut with the Brazilian national team on March 20, 2025, during the match that ended with Brazil winning against Colombia 2-1.
Wesley is expected to wear the number 43 jersey with Roma, becoming the 46th Brazilian player in the club's history.
