Lille Rejects PSG's Offer for Goalkeeper Chevalier
French club Lille has rejected an offer from Paris Saint-Germain to sign their goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier during the current summer transfer window, according to the French newspaper "L'Équipe".
The report stated that PSG made an initial offer to sign the 23-year-old goalkeeper, but Lille's management rejected the offer due to their dissatisfaction with the proposed financial compensation.
The report indicated that Paris Saint-Germain's offer was less than 40 million euros, which is the minimum amount set by Lille for agreeing to sell Chevalier.
It is noted that Chevalier participated in 48 matches with Lille last season, during which he conceded 53 goals.
