Dutch media reports revealed that Gouril Hato, the young Ajax defender, missed his team's recent friendly match against Como at his personal request, in preparation for his potential transfer to Chelsea.

According to what the 'Daily Mail' reported from Dutch sources, Hato informed his coach of his desire not to participate in the match, amid strong interest from Chelsea in signing him during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Reports indicated that the London club has reached an agreement with the player regarding the personal terms of the contract, thus surpassing rivals Liverpool and Arsenal in the race to sign the promising left-back, who is 19 years old and also excels as a center-back.

Ajax is adamant about receiving £60 million in exchange for Hato's services, who is still tied to a contract with the Dutch club for another three years.

It is worth mentioning that Chelsea has bolstered its squad during the transfer window with several prominent signings, including Joao Pedro, Jamie Gettinies, and Liam Delap.
