After the Hanko Deal Stumbles.. Al-Nassr Pursues Global Defensive Names
Wednesday 23-07-2025
Reports have revealed the failure of negotiations for the transfer of Slovakian defender David Hanko from Dutch club Feyenoord to Al-Nassr, which is currently seeking a strong replacement to compensate for the anticipated departure of Aymeric Laporte.

The deal's failure comes at a critical time, prompting Al-Nassr's management to intensify their efforts in the transfer market to sign a world-class defender before the summer window closes.

Several heavy names are on Al-Nassr's radar, most notably José Giménez, the 32-year-old defender from Atlético Madrid, whose market value is 20 million euros.

Also appearing on the list is Piero Hincapié, a 23-year-old defender from Bayer Leverkusen, with a market value of around 50 million euros, who has scored 3 goals in 45 matches.

Andreas Christensen, a 29-year-old defender from Barcelona, is also highlighted, with a market value of 12 million euros, having played only 6 matches last season without scoring.

His teammate Ronald Araújo has a market value of 35 million euros, participating in 25 matches and scoring two goals, making him an excellent defensive option.

The list also includes Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan, aged 27, with a value of 20 million euros, in addition to Kim Min-jae, a defender from Bayern Munich, whose value is 40 million euros.

Al-Nassr is racing against time to finalize a defensive deal that strengthens the backline and gives the team a significant boost before the start of the new season.
