Al-Qasim player Al-Harith Hatim issued an official clarification through his personal account, responding to what he described as "rumors" that have circulated recently regarding the reasons for not renewing his contract with the team, confirming that he has not received any communication from the current management since the end of the season.

Al-Harith said in his message to Al-Qasim fans: "Peace be upon you, the great and loyal fans of Al-Qasim Club, this is the right time for me to clarify a set of rumors that have been directed at me recently, and I say it frankly: anyone who has spoken about me on this subject is a trivial and lying person who lacks any credibility."

He added: "Since the end of the season on 7/2, no one from the current management has contacted me regarding renewal, except for some kind club fans and the support committee, who I respect and appreciate."

Al-Harith continued his talk in a clear tone: "The talk about me asking for large amounts or setting impossible conditions is completely untrue and there is no evidence for it. I challenge anyone who has evidence to show it publicly to the fans."

The player also revealed a personal initiative he undertook before the end of the season.

He said: "I was the one who initiated the call to the club president myself, because I am one of the sons of this club, and I confirmed that my priority is for my city despite having large and tempting offers from other clubs, and I even waived 25 million dinars in favor of the club."
