Al-Zawraa team's technical staff held a press conference ahead of the match against Al-Qasim tomorrow, Thursday, as part of the 35th round of the Iraq Stars League. During the conference, the staff and players confirmed that the team enters the match with the motivation to continue their victories despite some absences.

Assistant coach Aws Ibrahim emphasized that all remaining matches are of utmost importance to the team, and Al-Zawraa's goal is clear: to secure the three points in every match.

He stated that maintaining positive results gives the players greater motivation to preserve the outstanding level the team has shown in recent rounds, noting that the victory over Al-Mina restored the players' confidence before entering the decisive phase.

Regarding the opponent, Ibrahim explained that Al-Qasim has a group of young players capable of delivering good performances, but the administrative circumstances the club faced this season have affected its journey, leading to its official relegation.

He confirmed that Al-Zawraa is technically and morally ready for the match, and the technical staff has worked on preparing substitutes to compensate for the impactful absences, stressing that the goal is to make the fans, who supported the team until the last moment, happy.

Team player Kazem Raad indicated that the players have completed their preparations well and that the focus is currently on delivering a performance that befits the club's name and achieves a positive result in front of the audience.

He said that the Iraqi league does not recognize easy matches, as every team has different motivations and ambitions, confirming that Al-Qasim, despite its position in the standings, remains a respectable team with distinguished elements.

He added that Al-Zawraa will enter the match with full seriousness and without underestimating the opponent, as losing points at this time could cost the team dearly in the race for the top four.

Al-Zawraa enters the match in fourth place with 65 points and seeks to widen the gap with its pursuers before two rounds from the end. In contrast, Al-Qasim plays the match without pressure after its relegation was confirmed, but it seeks to leave a positive impression in its last appearance this season.
