Giovanni, the agent of Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri, revealed the behind-the-scenes of Allegri's refusal of the chance to coach Real Madrid after Zinedine Zidane's departure from the royal club in 2021.
Allegri said in press statements: "I was about to kill Allegri because he rejected Real Madrid's offer. I was convinced that this would have been his greatest achievement of his career."
Giovanni explained that Allegri rejected coaching the royal club because he made a heartfelt decision to return to Juventus in his second term.
Allegri coached Juventus from 2021 to 2024, and he is currently coaching AC Milan.
