Sunday 20-07-2025
Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed via his official account on the social media platform 'X' that Slovenian striker Benjamin Cisco has returned to Manchester United's list of interests as part of the club's plans to strengthen the center forward position during the current summer transfer window.

Jacobs explained that Manchester United had made an offer to sign Cisco 12 months ago, but the player decided at that time to stay with his club Leipzig and continue his journey in the German league.

The journalist pointed out that Manchester United's management also discussed other names among the options proposed to strengthen the attack, most notably Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins, as part of a shortlist of potential targets.

Jacobs confirmed that signing a new striker is a top priority for Manchester United's management in the current summer transfer market, as they continue to work on finalizing the right deal to enhance the team's attacking strength for the upcoming season.
