Marco Asensio Returns to Training with Paris Saint-Germain Reserves
Spanish star Marco Asensio has joined the training complex of Paris Saint-Germain, preparing for the new season, amid ongoing uncertainty regarding his future with the French team.
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", Asensio participated in training alongside duo Milan Skriniar and Carlos Soler as part of the reserve team, which is equivalent to the club's youth team, with the aim of regaining his physical fitness before returning to collective training on August 5, and also to negotiate the terms of his anticipated departure.
The newspaper clarified that Asensio has reached a preliminary agreement to move to Turkish club Fenerbahçe during the ongoing summer transfer window, especially since coach Luis Enrique informed him since last January that he was out of his tactical plans.
It is worth noting that Asensio played last season 37 matches wearing the jerseys of Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa, contributing to 15 goals, including 9 with the English team and 6 with the Champions League titleholder in the first half of the season.
