West Ham United has announced its signing of Senegalese player Haj Malik Diufo from Czech club Slavia Prague to strengthen the team's squad during the current summer transfer window.

Diufo, who is 20 years old, played a significant role in helping Slavia Prague win the Czech league title last season, participating in 41 matches across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 4 assists, totaling 3074 minutes of play.

He has also appeared for the Senegal national team in 6 international matches, the latest being two friendly matches against Ireland and England.

The player expressed his happiness about moving to the Premier League, saying: "I am very happy to be here, and I look forward to working hard with my new teammates. There were many offers, but I chose West Ham United after speaking with coach Graham Potter, and I believe it is a good step for my future."
