The Accord at a Crossroads.. Moudouy in the Picture and Antoine Hey Rejected by the Fans!
Sunday 13-07-2025
Despite the official announcement by CR Belouizdad about their contract with German coach Antoine Hey, some sources close to the club suggest an imminent agreement with Algerian coach Kheir Eddine Moudouy, a move that could open a new avenue of controversy within the club's walls.

The German coach has not been well received by the fans of CR Belouizdad, as many supporters have expressed their dissatisfaction with the appointment, urging the management to quickly retract this decision and sign a name with experience and knowledge of Algerian football and the identity of the team, which has brought Moudouy's name back into the spotlight.

Kheir Eddine Moudouy, considered one of the most prominent coaches in the history of Algerian football, led CR Belouizdad in 2014 to win the title of the African Champions League in its new version, becoming the first Algerian club to achieve this feat, and later qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup where they finished in fifth place.

He has also overseen the team in several previous stages and achieved many championships thanks to his deep knowledge of the club as a former player and seasoned coach, although his technical level has seen some decline in recent years.

Moudouy's last appearance was last season with CS Constantine, where he managed to lead the team to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, but finishing in tenth place in the local league prompted the management of 'Snafris' to terminate his contract.

The situation remains unclear at CR Belouizdad, will we witness Moudouy's official return? Will the management retract their choice of the German coach?

The fans are awaiting the final decision amidst an atmosphere of anticipation and concern regarding the future of the team's coaching staff.
