
Aubameyang Agrees to Return to Marseille
Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, striker for Saudi Al-Qadisiyah, has agreed to return to Olympique Marseille during the current summer transfer window.
Earlier reports from Saudi media indicated that Al-Qadisiyah reached an agreement with Aubameyang to mutually terminate his contract after one season with the team, which finished fourth in the Saudi league.
According to journalist Santi Aouna via his official account on the X platform, Aubameyang has agreed to sign a contract with Marseille that will last until the summer of 2027.
The veteran striker, who is 36 years old, moved to Al-Qadisiyah in the summer of 2024 from Marseille for 9 million euros according to Transfermarkt, and during his one season with Al-Qadisiyah, he played 36 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 3 assists.
Previously, he played for Marseille between 2023 and 2024 in 51 matches, scoring 30 goals and providing 11 assists.
