Chelsea Announces Departure of Matiss Amougou to Strasbourg
The English club Chelsea announced today, Saturday, the permanent transfer of its young player Matiss Amougou to Strasbourg in France during the current summer transfer window.
The club clarified through its official website that Amougou, a player for the French U20 national team, left the Blues after joining the team last January from Saint-Étienne, where he made his Premier League debut against Southampton in February.
Amougou also participated in Chelsea's campaign in the European Conference League and was part of the squad that won against Real Betis in the final match.
The club concluded its statement by wishing the player good luck in his career with his new team, affirming its confidence in his success in his upcoming steps.
