Shabi Excludes 3 Foreign Players from Raja and Club Management Begins Negotiations to Terminate Their Contracts
The Tunisian coach Lassaad Chabi, the head coach of Raja SC, has decided to part ways with three foreign players during the current summer transfer window as part of a plan to restructure the team ahead of the new season.
Sources close to the matter reported that Chabi informed the club's management, led by the new president Jawad Ziyat, of his dissatisfaction with the technical and physical performance of Senegalese player Baba Ousmane Sakho, Mauritanian player Mohsen Bada, and Tunisian player Hani Amamou, confirming that they are out of his plans for the upcoming season.
In light of this decision, Raja's management has begun negotiations with the three players to amicably terminate their contracts, in a move aimed at easing the financial burden and opening the door for new signings.
This trio joins a list of players who have recently left the team, including: Frederico Picoro, Benaissa Ben Ammar, Abdel Rahman Al-Sousi, and Yasser Baldi.
Meanwhile, Raja has strengthened its squad this summer by signing international defender Badr Benoun, who returns from a stint at Qatar SC, and Nigerian winger Moses Orko, who comes from Tunisian club Ittihad Monastir.
