AS Roma announced that it has reached a final agreement with goalkeeper Mile Svilar to renew his contract until the summer of 2030, with an annual salary of 4 million euros, according to Sky Sport Italia. The player is set to officially sign the new contract on Friday, July 11.

The agreement came after several weeks of negotiations, without including any termination clauses in the new contract, and no commissions were paid to the player's agents during the negotiations, in a move that confirms both parties' commitment to continue their collaboration for years to come.

Svilar, 25 years old, joined AS Roma in the summer of 2022 from Portuguese club Benfica, and since then he has managed to establish himself as one of the key players in the team, having played 85 matches in various competitions, during which he kept a clean sheet on 30 occasions.

During the 2024/2025 season alone, the goalkeeper participated in 51 matches in Serie A, Coppa Italia, and the Europa League, achieving 19 clean sheets, confirming his remarkable development and importance in Roma's future project.
