
Officially.. Dortmund agrees on Gittens' departure to Chelsea
Borussia Dortmund has announced that it has reached a full agreement for the departure of Jamie Gittens to Chelsea FC during this summer's transfer window.
The German club stated: "Jamie Gittens is about to move to Chelsea, as all parties involved reached an agreement on Thursday in Fort Lauderdale (USA), and now it just needs to finalize the contract details."
Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund's sporting director, said: "Jamie is a highly talented player who has brought us a lot of joy. Now it's time for him to transition to a new phase in his career with Chelsea, and we wish him the best of luck and success."
The 20-year-old player will join the Blues on a contract that extends until the summer of 2032, in a deal that could total 65 million euros, including additional clauses.
