Imam Ashour's Contract Adjustment with Al-Ahly Soon
Media figure Ahmed Hassan revealed via his official Facebook account the proximity of Al-Ahly to adjusting Imam Ashour's contract.
Hassan stated: "There is a recommendation from Captain Mahmoud El Khatib to adjust and renew Imam Ashour's contract to match the salary of the premium category currently, in appreciation of the player's participation rates and his efforts with the team."
Imam Ashour had suffered an injury during Al-Ahly's match against Inter Miami in the first round of the Club World Cup.
Al-Ahly exited the tournament from the group stage after collecting two points from two draws and one loss.
