Porto Sacks Coach Martin Anselmi
The Portuguese club Porto announced the dismissal of team coach Martin Anselmi after being eliminated from the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the group stage.
Porto failed to qualify for the Round of 16, having not achieved any victories in the first group of the Club World Cup, finishing with just two points from two draws and one loss.
Additionally, Porto finished the Portuguese league in third place and failed to advance in the UEFA Europa League.
Porto had signed Anselmi last January on a contract extending for two and a half years.
