Manchester United Rejects Loan for Al-Nassr Striker Due to Financial Terms
British newspaper "talksport" revealed that Manchester United rejected the idea of signing Colombian John Duran, the striker from Al-Nassr, during the current summer transfer window.
The newspaper clarified that the main reason for the rejection was the high financial demands associated with the deal, primarily the player's weekly salary, which exceeds £300,000.
Duran also requested that Manchester United cover his entire salary during the loan period, in addition to wanting to include a purchase option clause at the end of the season.
These conditions were deemed unsuitable by Manchester's management in terms of financial and technical feasibility, leading to the halt of negotiations and no progress being made.
John Duran had joined Al-Nassr from Aston Villa during the last winter transfer window in January 2025.
