Arsenal FC has announced the renewal of its young player Myles Luis Skelly's contract on its official website, securing a long-term deal following his impressive performances last season.

The 2024/2025 season saw Myles strongly emerge within the first team, where he played 39 matches across all competitions, starting his season with his debut against Manchester City in the Premier League, followed by his first start against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup.

The 18-year-old continued to shine at the European level, becoming the youngest player to start a match in the UEFA Champions League with Arsenal since 2011, during the match against Monaco, and he scored his first goal for the first team against Manchester City in the league.

Luis Skelly is considered one of the most prominent graduates of the renowned Hale End Academy, having joined Arsenal at the age of eight, and he has previously represented the England senior team, scoring a goal in his debut during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Albania at Wembley Stadium.

Some media reports have indicated that the young English star's new contract with Arsenal extends until the summer of 2030.

The club confirmed that the new contract for the player is currently undergoing the necessary regulatory procedures.
