Milan Director: We Are Ready to Sign Modric
The director of the Italian club AC Milan, Tiin Egli Tari, admitted that the club is working to bring in Croatian star Luka Modric during the upcoming transfer window.
Modric is set to leave Real Madrid this summer after his contract ends.
Tari stated in remarks reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano: "We are ready to sign Luka Modric, we need new leaders."
He added: "Modric can be a key player for us, and he has inquired about competitiveness and winning titles... we are working on that."
According to several reports, Luka is expected to sign a one-season contract with Milan with an option for an additional year.
