Reports have revealed that Manchester United has begun its initial communications with representatives of French star Christopher Nkunku, a Chelsea player, to inquire about the terms of his potential departure during the summer transfer window.

According to what the 'L'Équipe' website reported, Nkunku, who is 27 years old, is still under contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2029, but the player has expressed his desire to leave the team this summer, amid interest from several clubs in signing him, without entering into official negotiations so far.

Manchester United continues to search for attacking reinforcements, as they plan to sign players for the front line, with Bryan Mbeumo, a Brentford player, being one of the names considered alongside Nkunku.

Manchester United's moves to strengthen its squad are part of the club's plan to bolster the team before the start of the new season to compete strongly in the Premier League.
