Al-Ghandour said via Facebook: "A historic win for Sundowns against the South Korean champion and the first win for an African team in the Club World Cup in its new format."
Sundowns won against Ulsan with a score of 1-0, with the goal scored by Ikram Rayaners in the 36th minute of the match.
With this result, Sundowns' points increased to 3, leading the sixth group table, while Ulsan sits at the bottom of the group without any points.
