The Saudi team needs to win by five goals to qualify directly for the World Cup and avoid entering the playoff.

Borrello told The West Australian: "If the Saudi team needs to win by five goals, we shouldn't have to repeat this talk too much. We are going to Jeddah to win, regardless of all calculations."

Borrello added: "I don't want to talk about going there and losing; that's not the mentality we want to adopt. We are going with the goal of winning, nothing else."

He concluded his statements: "It's embarrassing to say that Saudi Arabia needs to win 5-0; rather, our mentality should be that we are going to achieve victory and qualify for the World Cup, celebrating it as a great achievement for our country."
