The Italian club Atalanta announced on its official website the appointment of Croatian coach Ivan Juric as the new head coach of the first team, starting from July 1, 2025, with a contract extending until June 30, 2027.

Juric, 49 years old, has extensive coaching experience, having managed 371 professional matches, including 249 in the Italian league.

Juric hails from the Croatian city of Split, and his appointment is part of Atalanta's ambitious project to continue building on the team's recent successes.

The club welcomed the Croatian coach and wished him success in his mission with the team.

It is noteworthy that Gian Piero Gasperini, the former head coach of Atalanta, has taken over the coaching position at AS Roma today, after leaving Atalanta following 9 successful seasons in which he led the team.
