Italian media reports have revealed Inter Milan's desire to sign Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund, a player for Manchester United, during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to the 'Football Italia' website, the Nerazzurri management has prioritized Hojlund to strengthen their attacking line, with plans to make an offer to loan him from Manchester United with a purchase option.

The newspaper clarified that Inter has set a budget of approximately 40 million euros for a striking deal this summer, as part of their efforts to reinforce the team ahead of the new season.

Hojlund had transferred to Manchester United from Atalanta in August 2023, but he has not met expectations, having scored only four goals in 32 Premier League matches during the 2024/2025 season.

The Danish star previously shone in Serie A with Atalanta in the 2022/2023 season, where he scored 9 goals in 32 matches, finishing his last season with the Italian team by scoring 16 goals and providing 7 assists in 42 matches across all competitions.
