Al-Hilal club is moving closer to a new step in the transfer market, as Saudi press sources revealed a huge offer made to acquire Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United, in preparation for the Club World Cup.

According to what was published by the "Al-Riyadhiah" newspaper, Al-Hilal offered Fernandes a 4-year contract with a total salary of 100 million euros, in a deal classified as one of the largest in the history of Saudi football.

However, the Portuguese player did not fully agree, as he stipulated reducing the contract duration to just 3 seasons, in exchange for 30 million euros per season, with additional financial incentives that could exceed 8 million euros.

Al-Hilal is racing against time to finalize the deal before the official preparations for the Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States in the coming months.

Fernandes has played 57 matches this season for Manchester United, scoring 19 goals and providing 20 assists, confirming his status as one of the best midfielders in the world.

Al-Hilal's desire to attract a star of Fernandes' caliber reflects the club's ambition to strengthen its squad with global names, especially with the approach of continental and international competitions.

It seems that negotiations are still ongoing between the two parties, amid significant fan anticipation regarding the outcome of this deal that could change the landscape of the Saudi league.
