French media reports have revealed that Al-Nassr is competing with fellow Saudi club Al-Ettifaq for the signature of Croatian international Luka Modric, the midfielder of Spanish club Real Madrid.

It is worth noting that Real Madrid announced that the Croatian star will leave the team after the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, at the end of his contract, after spending 13 years with Los Blancos.

According to a report published by the French website 'Foot Mercato', Modric has several options available, including from Brazil, the United States, and the Middle East.

The report continued that Al-Nassr is competing with both Al-Ettifaq and American club Inter Miami for Modric's signing in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The report concluded that the Croatian player's family prefers a move to the United States over other options.
